EAO ShrtCut

Born in the state of Oklahoma in March of '58, I was a military brat whos dad was in Army Special Forces and a mom who only worked during tax season, I was a hand full to my parents and a hazard to my two sisters. At 14 I got into some big trouble and dad was removed from Special Forces, sent to south Texas as a Drill Sargent (yes, he lost 2 strips) and thats where he retired from Army life. By the time I was 16 I had seen 48 of the 50 states and lived in 13 of them, We moved back to Oklahoma in 1973 and I am a true "Okie" by heart (those that have spoken to me can verify this :hehe: ) and am married to my lovely wife of 23 years. We have 3 children between us (ages 30 to 26) 2 of which have blessed us with 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters (ages 6 to 2months), and we wouldn't trade them for anything in this world We try to live a quite life and both of us still enjoy our time together as well as online gaming. The wife is into crafts right now but has delved into many hobies over the years, but I have stuck with my fishing and hunting when every possible

In 1985 we got our kids their first Nintendo, complete with robot and pistol, as well as Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt and I can't remember the name of the one used by the robot. But that started gaming in the house of ShrtCut. By 1992 we were all bored with Nintendo, Sega and Atari console games and got our very first computer (anybody remember DOS 3.0??? ) and the gaming just got better and better. First was Duke Nukem (24 Floppy disks that I still have) then DOOM, soon after, Quake and Revenge of the Triad. It was a constant fight over who got to play for how long and WHEN. By 1995 I was bored with the shooter games and while broswing around our local Wal-Mart I found The Need For Speed and with game pad in hand I was addicted NFS2, and NFS3 were just as addictive, but NOTHING compared to the adrenaline rush that I got from NFS-HS. I played for 2 months, completed career mode 5 times before I ever found out it had online capabilities and thought, Why not? Got online and got my rear handed to me in surprising fashion Tucked my tail tween my legs and completed career mode 2 more times before I finially said to heck with it and got back online to find out what true adrenaline racing was like, not to mention the REAL PEOPLE I got to race with (YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAW Folks!!!)

Spot, WebMech, Tweeker, Lowrider, Blaktop, WORM, Hvy, Zthang, just to name a few of the ones who made Shrty what he is today, those are the guys who showed me how it was done and taught me the way of online racing For days and days on end I would meet Spot early in the morning and we would jump in the Bonus Porsche and take off on Snowy Mountain till almost to the end, then we would turn around and go back the other way, day after day we did this till we knew the tracks backward, forward, mirrored, flipped upside down and do it again. Then one day Spot says, 'Hey Big Dog (his nick name for me), want to join a clan I am starting up?" And I was member #3 of the WolfPack, BlackWolf was born and the DKO Championship was all mine :)

It was during those years ('99-'01) that the whole idea of "Clan" Racing started, and I like to think that The Need For Better Speed community had a lot to do with it It was from the NFBS community that came great teams like The WolfPack, who was the first to form (if I remember correctly), then came NFBS whos life seemed so short only to flourish again a little while later. About the same time NFBS clan started the EAOutlaws was formed by a guy named Zthang (or EAO Doc as many knew him). Then came teams like Team GER, NTS, NIT, and there others who got their roots from The Need For Better Speed community.

During the summer of 2000 a few members of the NFBS community had a little get together in Kansas City, Kansas USA of which I was proud to be part of It was during this meeting that I was coaxed into joining the EAO by EAO Doc and EAO Rebelz, two great gentlemen who I am proud to have known, and the EAO took off to Motor City Online where it flourished and picked up many members, some of which as still with us today. Later that year Doc had to take a leave of absence due to some real life issues and he turned leadership of the EAO over to me, and after some differences of opinion it was decided that the EAOutlaws was to be run by 5 members of the management team (also knowns as the OUTLAWS). It was with the help of members like WORM, Bytor, X, Strato, BG, Imprezza, Rebelz, War, Oldguy, BoB, Van and Oldfart that have made the EAO what it is today. Over the years we have seen many members come and go, sooo many Bandits have joined and helped create one of the GREATEST online gaming Teams that has ever been, and I am VERY proud to be a part of it

I want to THANK each and every one I know for making it possible for a old Okie to have been a part of this GREAT group of people. Without your help and support the EAOutlaws would not have been what it is today,,,,,,

THANK YOU!!! One and ALL
