I hail from a Northern Ontario town called Sault Ste Marie. pop. 90,000. I come from a large family of seven children. My childhood consisted of many outdoor activities. Such as , fishing, skiing, swimming, boating, hockey { of course..the Canadian national sport },football etc...you get the picture..eh? After school I started working at the Steel works in the Soo. I was a quality engineer in a seamless tubing mill. So,,,1985..the recession. There was a lay off of 75% of the workforce ...that included me. Decided to look at the Southern part of the province for work and ended up in the plastics industry and staying there for 14 years. During this time I married ( 1981 ) and had a daughter born in 1983...I attended night school for 7 years to get my certificate in Industrial management....now working a supervisor /manager . The automotive industry just recently is troubled and I now work in a food related fabrication facility building incubation systems, as a supervisor.
I became involved in on line gaming in 2004 when I purchased a car racing game for my son. He was 3 at the time so Dad had to win some cars and tracks for the little guy. A long story short..dad got hooked on HP2. I have found some help on line through the gamespy 242 group of people. One person in particular coached me to become a better driver. I slowly became a better over time...started off as 46rrr...then changed my name to 2slow last year. People were not threatened by this harmless name and I began to watch and learn from the fast drivers...EAOHud! being one of them...I was not scared away or did not drop out of the races just because I was not winning. It's the drive and determination , that we all use to succeed .....practice..practice....practice. I find this relaxing and spend 2 - 4 hours per week doing it.

I don't follow the racing sport in real life, but enjoy the look and creativity of street rods and the speed in general. I exceed the speed limit at times and have tested my car to see it's top speed...but on a empty road as to not endanger others. I spend the majority of my time with family...I consider myself a husband / father first and my needs come after theirs.
I have found some new friends here at the EAOutlaws and look forward to many years of gaming. Thanks, EAO 2slow
