EAO Member of the Month

October 2006

EAO trilegdog

He originally hails from Tennessee, but spent most of his life moving from one place to another as his Dad followed a career in the Army. Kind of following in his Dad's footsteps, he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps a few years ago. Turning down a lucrative job offer from the Government (and the promise of a second retirement), he brought his wife back to her hometown in the Midwest so that she could be close to her large family.

He has since worked as a PC Tech in a electronics chain for a year, two years in Computer Ops at a financial institution, and now has his own business in the music field..

For hobbies he has customized an 86 1/2 Nissian Hardbody Pickup Truck (which he did 2 shows with.....lol....the 1st show got him a "Cleanest Truck of the Show" trophy), followed by an 89 IROC-Z28. The brand new IROC spent 3 years on blocks in the garage while the engine underwent a major polishing job and some minor performance upgrades. It never failed to take a 1st Place in it's class and it's crowning achievement was beating a Black Dodge Viper in the Modified Street Class. The last project was a Black 89 Silverado Shortbox, slightly tweaked 350 small block, rolling on American Racing Torq Thrust II rims. He currently dreams about building a daily driver street rod.

He's played guitar as a hobby for a few years now and enjoys playing melodic stuff on acoustic and hard stuff on the electric. (His sig comes from the self-titled Alice in Chains album.) He also gets a kick out of playing a Led Zep song, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, on the banjo while beating a bass drum.

He started racing online in late 03 with HP2 and soon ran in to some guys called the EAO with whom he's developed a lasting devotion to. NFS Underground hit the streets and he climbed the ladder up to number 30 or so in rank, followed by Underground 2 and a climb to number 3 in Elite. Most Wanted was wanting attention from EA for help but they gave up, so his attention turned towards car design and an old graphics hobby resurfaced and he now enjoys editing cars from the NFS series posting the pictures online.
